Yard sign

Hosting a yard sign is one of the most important ways you can help us win this election – it's the way we can demonstrate our strength in numbers that we are for people, not political parties.

Let your neighbours know you're ready for change – real, community-driven, independent change.

If we don’t speak up today, we risk another election cycle swallowed by the same old party lines and broken promises.

Don’t let this one fade away. We are so close.

A better future starts on your lawn.
Be bold. Be seen. Be the change.

The Power of Yard Signs

Increased Name Recognition
A 2016 study published in The Journal of Political Marketing found that yard signs increased candidate vote share by about 1.7 percentage points in local elections—significant in tight races.

Visibility Matters
According to the New York Times, campaigns that used yard signs effectively saw higher name recall and familiarity, particularly with voters who weren’t engaged online or through mainstream media.

Social Proof in Action
Research from political scientists at Columbia University shows that when people see multiple yard signs for a candidate in their neighbourhood, they perceive the candidate as more viable and supported, which can influence undecided voters.

Reach That Adds Up
A sign on a busy street can be seen by hundreds to thousands of people a day. Multiply that by 30 days until election day, and you're looking at tens of thousands of impressions—all without paying for an ad.

Meet our mascot - Emmaline the Egret

We’re proud to introduce our mascot, Emmaline—a vibrant Egret designed to spark conversations and inspire action across our community.

Why an Egret? This graceful bird, found widely across Fairfax, symbolizes our connection to the region and our commitment to change. Inspired by the Orange Cockatoo from Indi’s 2013 campaign, Emmaline represents:

  • Climate action and protecting our environment.
  • Solutions for the economy and cost of living.
  • Empowerment and education for change.

Her name, meaning vigor, bravery, and diligence, reflects the qualities we bring to this campaign as we work to elect Francine for Fairfax.

If you wish to have your own Emmaline - get in contact with the team to show your support in your neighbourhood.
