Early voting has begun across Fairfax, and independent candidate Francine Wiig is reminding voters: your preferences belong to you,  not political parties.

“As an independent, I don't do preference deals,” Francine said. “I trust you to decide who deserves your vote, in the order that matches your values.”

Francine’s how-to-vote card keeps it simple: Vote 1 for Francine Wiig, then number the other candidates in the order you choose. No tricks. No hidden deals. No party pressure. Just real, independent representation, the way democracy should be.

This makes handing out how-to-vote cards at early voting centres even more important.

Francine is calling on locals who believe in fairness, climate action, integrity, and strong community representation to put their hand up and help. Whether it's a few hours at a booth or bringing a friend along on Election Day, volunteers will play a vital role in giving Fairfax a real choice.
